I'd seen some quite-positive reviews for Medlock Gulf on Next Door website / neighborhood local 'piece' (Mount Brian / Toco Hills) ... I have older Honda, but w/ (only) 126K miles ... I just wanted (1) and oil change, and (2) an accurate, HONEST assessment of what kind of maintenance work was needed on my ol' car (belts, hoses, fluids, CV boots, tire status... 'the usual') I was quite happy w/ the oil change, and the honesty of the assessment The reviews I saw (again) on Next Door were 'spot on' ... and 'General Manager' (I guess that's the slot-name) Paul is simply outstanding ... He has an apparent wealth of knowledge, re: 'car things' ... I was impressed, all-around, and even the pricing seemed quite reasonable ... Thank You, Medlock Gulf ! !

Exceptional service and staff. Best mechanics in Decatur!

Had not used this mechanic before for our Prius. However, since my regular mechanic was not open and I needed a place to tow my car to, I gave it a try. They were open until 8pm so towing the car here worked perfectly. They called the Monday with the repair estimate and when it would be done. All went as projected.

Thank you for taking such excellent care of my older car. It runs like a top which allows me to really enjoy driving it. I appreciate not only your expertise with cars but you taking your time to explain the procedures needed and why. Also your friendliness is a real asset.
