I bought a 1990 VW online sight unseen and knew it was going to need some work. Brought it here the next day. They gave me a ride home, were pleasant, and addressed the issues that were needed to make it driveable (brakes, front axle, belts). They gave reasonable advice, even advising me not to have the AC fixed at this time.

Needed a new car shop after moving from our old home & neighborhood of several decades, where we had a mechanic who was almost like family and fully trusted. So it was a tall order to find the right place for us in Decatur. So far, we have been very pleased with Medlock Gulf: the staff is friendly, helpful, informative, and efficient. The prices are reasonable too.
