Happy with the routine service we received. The guys noticed some problems and did preventative maintenance. Easy to set up an appointment. Work was timely, staff friendly.

Medlock Gulf is hands down the best mechanic I've ever worked with. The guys are all polite and courteous, and not creepy or condescending the way a lot of car mechanics can be with female customers. I work within 10 minutes of the shop, and they always give me a ride to work when I drop my car off, which is a huge help. The Saturday hours are also extremely helpful. They will definitely be my mechanic for life, as long as they don't change a thing about how they currently operate!

Medlock Gulf is very well organized, honest, competent and dependable. Paul is easy going and friendly and also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes me feel like I have good buddy taking care of me. They schedule an appointment at a convenient time and, if at all possible, get the work done that day. This is an excellently run operation. Highly recommended. My only hesitation in writing this is I don't want the good word to get out too far. This is a good thing to know about!

The guys are great! They are honest with what is needed for your car and take care of making it happen.

The service is quick. Make an appointment because they are busy. I've found everyone to be friendly, polite and they are customer oriented. All of my questions were answered and explained to make sense. Good old fashioned service.

The staff and the work performed are perfect

When's the last time you gave your mechanic a $20 tip? Well, unless you are Warren Buffet maybe, probably never. I am grateful to have a local, full service gas station with a staff that actually cares. Thank you guys for helping me get out of self-inflicted issue on Saturday and over-delivering by getting my car back the same day when expertly set my expectations that you would more than likely not get it back until Monday.

We finally found that fabled "trusted mechanic." Paul and his team at the Medlock Gulf are fair, reasonable, and completely trustworthy. A number of times, we have brought our car there, concerned about a potentially costly problem, only to have them tell us it's a quick, cheap fix, or not actually a concern at all. In other words, we've shown up fully prepared to open our wallets to them, and they've turned us away. How often does that happen?Most recently, they not only handled our repairs for us but actively advocated on our behalf when we had to fix a Jiffy Lube oil change that went really terribly awry. Paul got on the phone with Jiffy Lube's rep and helped us convince them that they needed to make our situation right. Without him, I seriously doubt that situation would have been resolved as well as it was.Overall, great service, friendly people, and fair prices. The only downside is they close kind of early (8pm) on weeknights, and aren't open for repairs on Sundays.
