Paul and the mechanics are fantastic...honest, fair and so willing to take time to explain what is going on with my car. They even give me a ride back home if I need to leave my car for repairs.

I experienced momentary heart failure when the gentleman told me how much my repair would cost, but he sympathized and explained why it was necessary and the further damage that could occur if not dealt with properly. When we came to pick up the car, he took the time to show us the parts and explain how they should work together and why they weren't. The education made us feel (a little) better about the expense. And we know it probably would have cost even more elsewhere.

Overall, I am very pleased with the timely, courteous, and competent service at Medlock Gulf! My one small complaint is that I wish a mechanic would offer to open the hood and show me what he did to my car...I grew up in a small town, and grew accustomed to this, and always appreciated learning more about my old car. But I will recommend Medlock Gulf to anyone who's looking for a great repair shop with honest and friendly staff!

When I dropped my vehicle off, they guy asked me if I needed a ride somewhere. I didn't, but I appreciated the offer. Medlock Gulf's mechanic accurately diagnosed my vehicle's problem quickly and offered me an expensive long-term repair option and an inexpensive short-term option. I chose the less expensive option, and there was no pressure or judging. Nobody likes car repairs, but this was about as good an experience as one could hope for.
