I took my 13-yr old Mini to Medlock Gulf after hearing glowing reviews from so many neighbors. I'm new to the area and wanted a trustworthy mechanic. Well, I think I've found them! They spent 2 days looking everything over, taking things apart, and in the end, let me know that it's not worth the expense of the needed replacements/repairs for a car that isn't going to last much longer. I really appreciate their honesty. They didn't try to sell me on anything or even do the minor repairs on the list just to make money. They only charged me about $100 for all the time they put in, and cheerfully gave me lots of advice on finding my next car. They even have a sweet guy named Josh who will drive you home and pick you up for free (within a certain distance - 5 mi?). Great service, honest people, seems like a unicorn of auto mechanics. I'll be coming back when I find my next car.
