Medlock has always been reliable for me. It's nice that I can even walk there and back! I would prefer they wore masks during the pandemic though. The waiting room is very small, but I was the only one there and there are two benches outside.

The folks at Medlock Gulf always go above and beyond. Someone had told me I needed a new brake switch and a new alternator. I took my car in and asked for them to be installed. After a short time they called and said that they replaced the brake switch, but after a thorough diagnostic found that the alternator was fine. The faulty brake switch was causing the battery to run down. They could have charged me another $200 and I wouldn’t have questioned it. That kind of integrity is rare.

I go to Medlock Gulf for all my car issues. Now, it has to be said they do not have the facilities to handle all mechanical repairs, but in my experience, only once did they suggest going elsewhere to have the problem fixed. To date, I have NOT had to return to Medlock because they did not fix the problem properly. I love the fact that if you live fairly close to the station (can't remember what the mile range is), they will will take you to and from the station!! The staff is friendly and the prices reasonable.
